Plain Sugar Wash

Sugar wash πŸ“ Queensland, Australia

Ingredients

8 lb plain white sugar 6 gallons water 2 tbsp yeast nutrient 1 packet turbo or distiller's yeast

Instructions

Dissolve the sugar fully in warm water, then top up to six gallons. Cool to 80Β°F, add the nutrient, and pitch the yeast. Ferment 5–7 days at a steady warm temperature until it clears and quiets down. Rack off the sediment and run it. A clean wash makes a clean spirit.
